Visit us at Siggraph 2008 in Los Angeles!
We'll be in the Rome Reborn booth (Hall G, New Tech) at the Los Angeles Convention Center from August 11th to 15th, demonstrating the CityEngine.
Rome Reborn is the largest virtual historical reconstruction, cultural heritage, and digital archeology project undertaken to date. Approximately 7,000 reborn buildings recapture Rome at the peak of its glory, in 320 AD, at the time of Constantine the Great.
In the scope of this project, the CityEngine has been applied to create thousands of Roman buildings and dozens of Ionic and Corinthian temples. Videos and pictures of the Rome reconstruction can be found here.

We bring all our CityEngine developers to Siggraph 2008 and have them ready for your personal CityEngine demo. Explore how...
#1: ...to generate large urban environments for all city modeling industries 10 times more efficiently than with existing solutions.
#2: ...a CityEngine user can write one shape grammar rule to generate hundreds of different buildings by randomizing a few of the architectural structures or textures.

Join us for the daily presentation in the Rome Reborn booth. Pascal Mueller, our CEO, speaks about the CityEngine and how ancient Rome was reconstructed.
The presenations will take place from Monday to Thursday and always starts at 11am in the Rome Reborn presentation area. We will also stream live from the Siggraph via Procedural TV.
