Java Programmer

Procedural Inc. is currently searching for a Java programmer with strong experience in Eclipse, RCP and OpenGL. Responsibilities will include developing, maintaining and extending Eclipse plug-ins, leading the effort of implementing user interfaces for our procedural modeling algorithms. The position requires deep understanding of (platform-independent) software application engineering, strong object-oriented design and implementation skills, an ability to collaborate in a small cross-functional team of world-class developers, and a passion for designing and implementing high quality code.

Requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 or more years of professional experience with Eclipse, RCP and OpenGL.
  • Ability to program high quality, robust, easy-to-maintain code and unit tests in Java.
  • Experience/Knowledge of 3D graphics, interaction techniques and 3D applications (e.g. Maya, Max) is a plus.

 

Computer Vision Expert 

Procedural Inc. is currently looking for a software developer with strong computer vision background. Responsibilities are the development and implementation of novel algorithms for the image-based modeling of architectural content based on our shape grammar. The position requires deep understanding of computer vision methods (including but not limited to stochastic optimization, object and symmetry detection, in-painting and segmentation), basic knowledge of grammars, an ability to collaborate in a small cross-functional team of world-class developers, and a passion for designing and implementing efficient code.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in computer vision.
  • Be proficient in C++ and familiar with grammar theory.
  • Strong understanding of the latest research in computer vision (ICCV, Siggraph etc).
  • Basic architectural knowledge is a plus.
