The CityEngine comes along with a help documentation system consisting of a quick start guide, a manual, tutorials, and a grammar reference. With this documentation you have access to all sides of the CityEngine.

After successful installation of the CityEngine, you can start up the help documentation by pressing the F1 shortkey in the CityEngine. Or as an alternative:
