Below we explain the process to install a trial version on Windows platforms. Actually everything is pretty standard.

After a successful trial registration you will receive an email with the download information and then you have to download the CityEngine from our website. Please choose the platform that you wish to install.

Now go to the directory where you downloaded the files. Start the installation process with a double click on "CityEngine_Trial_Setup.exe". The install wizard will guide you through the installation process.

After that you will enter a file path location for the CityEngine TRIAL. Note that the CityEngine TRIAL can later be properly uninstalled if necessary.

Now CityEngine will install all necessary files for you. After you finished the installation, the CityEngine can be launched directly and you can start working with the CityEngine. Typically, the CityEngine can be started from the "Windows Start Menu".
